This Basic Life Support course is ideal for anyone looking to gain essential first aid knowledge and practical lifesaving skills, with the addition of AED and Anaphylaxis training. The course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical competence required to be able to recognise and treat adults, children and infants who have become unresponsive, suffered cardiac arrest or are having a life-threatening allergic reaction (Anaphylaxis).
Learners will gain the skills and knowledge to respond quickly, calmly, and confidently and provide life saving treatment.
This in-person 4-hour course combines theory and practical learning, enabling participants to understand how to assess a casualty, provide effective CPR and respond safely in an emergency, with additional defibrillation (AED) practice and anaphylaxis, auto-injector.
The course is particularly suitable for healthcare and school professionals requiring Continual Professional Development (CPD), as well as anyone wishing to improve their basic first aid awareness and emergency response skills.

There is no minimum age requirement for this course.
Assessment
Although there is no formal assessment, learners will be continuously assessed
throughout the course by the trainer during both theory and practical activities.
Certificates
Successful learners will receive a Ofqual regulated qualification - FAA Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support, Automated External Defibrillation AND The Management of Anaphylaxis for Adults, children and Infants (RQF).
This course is suitable for Continual Professional Development (CPD).
