Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW

FAA AWARD LEVEL 3 (RQF)

This is a 1-day practical, hands-on course designed to give learners essential skills to respond to emergencies in the workplace and is ideal for low-risk environments or supporting a team of qualified first aiders (FAW).

The course is fully accredited, HSE compliant and delivers vital first aid knowledge and confidence.

What the course covers

Who can attend

Everyone, but is focused on staff in low-risk workplaces
Businesses needing to meet HSE first aid regulations
Individuals wanting to attend a practical first aid course.
Employers seeking Emergency First Aid at Work certification for their team
All learners need to be over the age of 16.

Assessment

Continuous practical assessment is carried out by the trainer, including a written assessment. You will need to pass both the practical and written assessments to be awarded the qualification, and this will include being able to perform effective CPR on the floor with a manikin and placing a casualty in recovery position.

Certificates

On successful completion, you will receive an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for 3-years.

Numbers

A maximum of 12 learners per course, all must be a minimum of 16 years of age, and ID will be required.

Other

As this course is physically hands-on, including CPR on a manikin and recovery position practice, please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting onto the floor in.
