FAA AWARD LEVEL 3 (RQF)
It is important for anyone responsible for the care of infants and children to have the knowledge and confidence to respond quickly in an emergency situation. This Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification provides learners with the practical skills needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid emergencies effectively.
This in-person 1-day course is ideal for parents, guardians, childcare providers and anyone with responsibility for children and babies. Learners will gain essential life-saving skills and practical knowledge to respond confidently and safely to emergencies involving infants and children.
The course is fully accredited, providing learners with a nationally recognised qualification.

Learners must be over the age of 16.
Assessment
Continuous practical assessment is carried out by the trainer alongside oral questioning throughout the course.
Learners must successfully complete the practical assessments to achieve the qualification. This includes demonstrating effective CPR and placing a casualty into the recovery position safely.
Certificates

Successful learners will receive the FAA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification.

The qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement.

To renew the qualification after expiry, learners will need to complete the full course again.

Annual refresher training is recommended during the three-year certification period.
Numbers
A maximum of 12 learners can attend each course.
All learners must be a minimum of 16 years of age and ID will be required.

Other
As this course includes practical activities such as CPR and recovery position practice, learners are advised to wear comfortable clothing suitable for floor-based activities.
Cost
£135 Per Person
* This course partly fulfils the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage require you to have 12 hours of paediatric first aid training, so the 2-Day Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid would be required to fulfil their requirements.
